Warning to the UN: Al-Burhan says war could spill over
The head of Sudan's ruling council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, is warning that the conflict in his country could spill over to other regions. Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, al-Burhan has been appealing to the international community to counter what he calls "sponsors" of the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, which the army has been fighting since April.
