US judge sentences Ahmaud Arbery’s killers to life in prison
Three white men have been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a Black jogger in the US state of Georgia. The judge said two of them, father and son Gregory and Travis McMichael, would spend the life term without the possibility of parole. Ahmaud Arbery was hunted down while he was out for a run in a mostly white neighbourhood in 2020.
