US COVID-19 effect: New York economy continues to struggle

International tourists have begun to return to the United States now that travel restrictions have been lifted. But in many cities, office employees are still working from home. That has led to less foot traffic and vacant storefronts in what were once considered high-rent districts like Midtown Manhattan in New York.
