US Congress passes $1 trillion infrastructure bill
The US Congress has passed a $1 trillion infrastructure bill, after much internal bickering within the Democratic party. President Joe Biden, for whom this is a substantial victory, will now sign into law the package approving spending on roads and other infrastructure. Biden says this will create more jobs for Americans and boost the United States' competitiveness.
