Ukrainian FM urges US and allies to send more fighter jets
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba, have discussed the diplomatic efforts to stop Russia’s invasion of its neighbour, the State Department says in a statement. Dmytro Kuleba on Sunday continued to urge US and Western allies to give fighter jets to Ukraine to help bolster its defences against Russia's attacks, calling the fighter jets the "highest demand" and the "most pressing issue". "What we are asking is very simple thing. We say arm Ukraine, and we will do the rest. Give us all the weapons necessary, and we will fight for our own land and for our people," Kuleba said during the "Face the Nation" show aired on CBS.
