Turkish Red Crescent ramps up tent production for quake survivors
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says the government will begin building new homes for survivors by the end of the month. He promised to start with 30,000 houses and to complete all projects in 10 affected cities in the south within a year. Ankara says it has so far provided more than 200,000 tents to earthquake survivors. With the number of survivors still unknown, more tents are being manufactured and sent to effected areas.
