Thousands of Chinese nationals waiting to leave Ukraine
China has been slow to pull its nationals out from Ukraine, but evacuations have started. Beijing has refused to condemn Moscow’s offensive or call it an invasion and many Chinese internet users have voiced support for Russia and its leader Vladimir Putin. China has been careful to emphasise its friendly relationship with Ukraine, but some Chinese in Ukraine say they have seen an increase in anti-China sentiment.
