The race to be UK’s prime minister begins, Johnson eyes comeback
In the United Kingdom, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson appears to be joining the race for his old job. He is expected to be up against former Chancellor Rishi Sunak and senior cabinet minister Penny Mordaunt. But only Mordaunt has formally launched her campaign, and each candidate needs the support of 100 MPs to enter the race to succeed Liz Truss.
