Netflix is set to soon release their film adaptation of the 2009 novel of the same name, The Gray Man. With a stellar cast led by Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, The Gray Man is an action thriller you won’t want to miss.

Australian Release Date

The Gray Man is set to be released globally on July 22nd. As it’s a Netflix Original, the film will be exclusively available to stream on Netflix – prices start at ​​$10.99 a month.

The Cast & Crew

Two-time Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling – best known for La La Land, The Notebook, Drive and Blade Runner 2049 – stars as the titular character, the Gray Man. Also starring in The Gray Man is Chris Evans, best known for playing Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ana de Armas, of Knives Out and No Time To Die fame, and Regé-Jean Page, of Bridgerton fame, also star in The Gray Man as does, Oscar-winner and veteran actor Billy Bob Thornton. Dhanush, Indian actor and Bollywood star, is also making his Hollywood debut in The Gray Man.

The Gray Man has been directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the brothers who are best known for directing Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

The Plot

The Gray Man AKA Court Gentry, played by Gosling, is the CIA’s most skilled mercenary. However, after discovering dark agency secrets, a bounty is placed on Court’s head. Court must then try to survive a global manhunt led by his former (and psychotic) CIA colleague, Lloyd Hansen, played by Evans.
