Thailand’s ruling coalition faces a crisis of confidence



Thailand's prime minister is looking increasingly isolated after recent defections from the ruling party and snubs from coalition partners. Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha has been in power since 2014 after a military coup, but the ruling coalition now appears shaky. Chan-ocha was snubbed at a recent cabinet meeting by members of the other coalition party who refused to turn up.
