Taliban restrictions on martial arts kick up woes
Martial arts have flourished in Afghanistan over the past 20 years, with both men and women taking part in different disciplines. But under the new Taliban government, the men have little hope their matches will be televised or that they will travel abroad for competition again. And for the women, with gyms closed and facing an uncertain future, their athletic careers seem doomed.
