Taliban orders Afghan women to cover their faces in public
Taliban leaders in have ordered women to cover their entire body while in public. They say if a woman refuses to do so, she or her family could be sent to prison or fired from government jobs. UN human rights experts say that Afghan women and girls are facing large-scale and systematic gender-based discrimination and violence.
