Sudan tribal clashes: Gov’t to deploy more troops to west Darfur

Thousands of people in Sudan’s western Darfur region have been displaced by inter-communal violence in the past week. Fighting between the Arab Rezeigat and non-Arab Masalit tribes has killed more than 200 people. The government has pledged to send more soldiers to the state.
