Srebrenica genocide haunts decades later: Survivors recount horror, seeking justice and closure

After the fall of Srebrenica to Bosnian Serb forces in July 1995, Muslim men and boys fled as Serbs executed over 8,000 people. Survivors like Zahid recount harrowing escapes and the loss of numerous relatives. Years later, discovering a cousin's remains brought a moment of solace. Despite efforts to bury victims, Serb nationalist symbols on ruins and graffiti serve as enduring reminders of the genocide's horrors. Al Jazeera’s Jonah Hull reports from Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Subscribe to our channel http://bit.ly/AJSubscribe
