Russia vetoes UNSC action on Ukraine, China abstains
The United Nations Security Council failed to adopt a resolution condemning the invasion of Ukraine. Russia vetoed the vote that would have confirmed the sovereignty of Ukraine and demanded that Russia immediately withdraw its forces.
