Qatar Balloon Festival: Gov’t expands tourist offerings ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cup
Qatar has held its first hot air balloon festival, a year ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. It is one of many events being planned, aimed at bringing in more tourists. Organisers of the Qatar Balloon Festival say the event has already drawn more than 10,000 visitors in its first two days.
