Paris Olympics to feature cutting-edge spray-on shoes & fast rubber track for enhanced performance

The latest advancement in running technology involves spray-on shoes. Companies now use robots to create moulds without laces in just three minutes. These lightweight, frictionless shoes could significantly impact marathon performance.
The co-founder of 'On Running' suggests that a 15-20% weight reduction translates into better performance and improved aerodynamics. He predicts that this will become a new frontier in running technology.
Since the introduction of Nike's Vaporflys in 2016, the 'supershoe' market has expanded, with runners breaking numerous world records. The upcoming Olympic marathon in Paris will feature these new spray-on trainers, which include a spike version for track athletes.
Additionally, the track used in Paris is made from two layers of rubber, claimed to be faster than previous surfaces. Improvements in track design aim to reduce energy loss and enhance performance. Al Jazeera’s Paul Rhys reports from Paris. Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/AJSubscribe
