New Polish law gives Ukrainian refugees special status



Polish president Andrzej Duda has signed a new law to assist the large numbers of refugees who have arrived since Russia invaded Ukraine. The legislation allows Ukrainians in Poland to legally stay and work in the country, apply for temporary residence, as well as to access benefits, healthcare and education.
