Moscow: Putin visits soldiers wounded in Ukraine

Russian state media has shown President Vladimir Putin meeting with soldiers wounded during Moscow’s offensive in Ukraine, marking his first such public visit since launching the invasion. The Rossiya-24 news channel showed Putin wearing a white coat while chatting to Russian troops at Moscow’s Mandryka military hospital. After meeting the wounded men, Putin said at a televised meeting with government officials: “These are people who are risking their health and lives for the sake of the people and children of Donbas, for the sake of Russia.
