Live: Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin hosts talks in Germany on arming Ukraine
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and ministers of defence and senior military officials from around the world are holding a Ukraine Security Consultative Group meeting at the United States' Ramstein Air Base in southern Germany. Austin says the aim of the conference is to "help Ukraine win the fight against Russia's unjust invasion", as well as to "build up Ukraine's defences for tomorrow's challenges".
