Lebanon: Voters hope for change in May 15 elections

Voters in Lebanon are preparing for elections on Sunday after more than two years of protests calling for a new government. Those calls began in 2019 in response to deteriorating living conditions. The movement led to the creation of new political coalitions that fielded more diverse candidates. Those wanting change through the ballot box face a difficult task.
