Latest outbreak of violence in Iraqi city of Basra leaves 4 dead
Three days of mourning have been declared in Iraq’s southern city of Basra following the violence between Shiite rival armed groups. Four people were killed, and 10 others wounded on Thursday. That comes days after fighting in the capital, sparked by an announcement by Shiite political leader Muqtada al Sadr that he was quitting politics.
