Italy’s re-elected president sworn in
Italy's newly re-elected president, Sergio Mattarella, takes an oath before parliament after being voted in for another term in office. Mattarella needed at least 505 votes from an electoral college of 1,009 lawmakers and regional representatives. He won 759.
