Israeli forces raid West Bank town, demolish homes
Israeli forces have raided the Palestinian town of Qarawet Bani Hassan, in the occupied West Bank. They demolished the homes of two Palestinians, who have been charged with killing a guard in April at the illegal Israeli settlement Ariel. The Israeli government says home demolitions are intended to prevent future attacks, but because Palestinian attackers are often killed or imprisoned, human rights organisations say it is their families who are being punished.
