The tech industry in the Republic of Ireland is booming. The country is rapidly becoming a hub for data centres, which process and store everything we do online. But it is having an unintended, negative effect on efforts to tackle climate change. But they use enormous amounts of energy, and environmentalists are sounding the alarm.
