Voters in Punjab, in northern India, are the latest to go to the polls in state assembly elections. It is seen as a test for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party, the BJP. Farmers make up the state's biggest voting bloc. They were heavily involved in successfully protesting against agricultural reforms last year.
