Hundreds of migrants and refugees camped at Belarus-Poland border
Hundreds of migrants and refugees from the Middle East and Africa remain gathered at Belarus’s border with Poland in an escalating crisis. The Polish government has called a crisis meeting and deployed troops to the region. Poland has closed part of its border with Belarus, accusing it of urging the migration flow, in retaliation against sanctions.
