Haiti’s food insecurity-WFP: 1 million people are at risk of famine
The World Food Program says the recent spate of violence in Haiti is hampering its ability to get food into Port-au-Prince. They are distributing humanitarian aid from existing reserves but say it’s only a matter of weeks until these reserves will be depleted. Al Jazeera’s Gabriel Elizondo reports from the United Nations.
