Good News of the day: Gender quotas applied to EU workplaces

Have you had your daily dose of #GoodNews? 👇 ♀️♂️ Gender equality came a little closer to reality this month, with a European Union agreement to apply gender quotas in the boardroom. 🇪🇺 Last year, EU data showed women occupied 30.6 per cent of boardroom positions across the bloc. It varied widely from country to country, with Cyprus having only 8.5 per cent of women in the boardroom, and France more than 45 per cent. 🇫🇷 France is so far the only EU state to go over this new threshold.
