Georgians protest over imprisonment of former president
Georgia’s opposition is set to hold a large rally in the capital Tbilisi on Thursday to protest against the imprisonment of former President Mikheil Saakashvili. The government says Saakashvili illegally entered the country from exile by hiding inside a dairy truck. He now faces six years in prison on allegations of abuse of power while in office.
