Gambians await government action on crimes under Yahya Jammeh
The Gambian government is set to ratify – or reject – the findings of a report on atrocities committed under its the rule of the country's former president Yahya Jammeh. The Truth and reconciliation commission investigated crimes committed while Yahya Jammeh was in office. But victims are skeptical the authorities will hold those accused to account.
