France: St Etienne fans clash with police after team’s relegation
Angry Saint-Etienne fans stormed the playing area after their team lost to Auxerre and reportedly attacked some of the players. Police used tear gas to disperse supporters. The defeat ended an 18-year stay in the top flight for Saint Etienne..
