Fertiliser at the centre of a dispute between Sri Lanka & China
A dispute between Sri Lanka and China is escalating, and it all centres around organic fertiliser. The Sri Lankan government says a 20,000-tonne shipment contains harmful bacteria and pathogens which could harm crops. The Chinese manufacturer has rejected the complaint and is demanding payment.
