Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has been personally leading the military from the front line since Tuesday after fighting between the Ethiopian government and Tigrayan rebels escalated in recent weeks. Meanwhile, the Presidents of Kenya and South Africa and the United States Secretary of State have reiterated calls for a ceasefire.
