Americans have been quitting their jobs in record numbers, and low-wage service industries have been hit particularly hard as a result. Economists say factors such as COVID-19 concerns, lack of childcare and generous stimulus benefits are to blame. Now, employers are having to rethink how to hire and keep their staff.
