Court suspends Thailand’s PM Prayuth pending term limit review

Thailand's constitutional court has suspended Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha from official duty. General Prayuth has led the country since 2014 when he seized power in a military coup. The court is weighing up if he has reached the maximum limit of eight years in office. Its decision could embolden the country's anti-government protest movement that has been calling for Prayuth to step down.
