China vows to ‘fight to the end’ to prevent Taiwan’s independence
Chinese Defence Minister Wei Fenghe has warned that Beijing will crush any move towards independence for Taiwan. He made the comments on the last day of Asia's top security summit in Singapore – the Shangri-La Dialogue. Wei said the United States is trying to hijack the support of countries in the region.
