China: Shanghai to lock down for testing as COVID surges
China's largest city and financial hub, Shanghai, is going into lockdown. It is happening in two phases to carry out a citywide COVID-19 mass testing. The lockdown is China's most extensive one since it first happened in Wuhan two years ago.
