Carmelo Anthony: Former Knicks superstar receives standing ovation at Madison Square Garden
“It goes deeper than basketball…that bond I have with New York City will never go anywhere,” Anthony said prior to tip-off. When he checked into the game, at the 4:10 mark of the first quarter, he received a standing ovation from the crowd at Madison Square Garden.
