Biden hails domestic policy victory before heading abroad
US President Joe Biden says he thinks he has enough support for his signature $1.75 trillion spending programme. Promising national substantial investments in social welfare and clean energy, it was cut down from an initially proposed $3.5 trillion version. Biden has faced opposition from some members of his fellow Democrats in getting the bill through.
