Belgium colonial crimes: shedding light on atrocities in Africa
Belgium's Parliament is set to examine crimes committed during the country's colonial era. Some MPs say it is time to confront atrocities committed in Congo, Burundi and Rwanda. A court in Brussels is considering a lawsuit brought by five women who say they were abducted from their families by Belgian colonial authorities.
