At least one dead, Vancouver port closed in Canada floods

At least one person has been killed by a landslide in Canada following major flooding, and two others are missing. Extreme weather on the west coast has forced the closure of almost every road to and from the greater Vancouver area, which counts nearly 2.5 million people. Heavy rain has prompted evacuations throughout southwestern British Columbia and caused power outages in the US state of Washington.
