Al Jazeera journalist and his cameraman killed in Israeli attack on Gaza
Al Jazeera Arabic journalist Ismail al-Ghoul and his cameraman Rami al-Refee have been killed in an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip.
The strike on Wednesday targeted a car near the Aidia area west of Gaza City, according to initial information.
This is not the first time the Israeli Army has targeted journalists – many of them, working for Al Jazeera. Journalists working in areas of conflict are protected under international humanitarian law.
Israel has been accused of violating that law — repeatedly.
