Afghanistan crisis: UN Security council to allow humanitarian AID
The U-N Security Council has unanimously adopted a resolution allowing humanitarian aid into Afghanistan. The council voted to apply a sanctions exemption – meaning governments and aid agencies can now send money and goods to the country for the first time since the Taliban took power. Millions of Afghans desperately need food and medicines.
