South Korea reports record COVID cases after easing restrictions



South Korea is reporting record highs in the number of new COVID-19 cases and critically ill patients after easing restrictions on movements earlier this month. Nearly 80 percent of the population has received anti-coronavirus inoculations. Health officials say that may be due to waning immunity among those who received the jab and are considering reimposing social movement curbs.
