US-Canada supply chains hit severely by heavy floods

Supply chains in western Canada and the US are taking a hit because of heavy flooding. It has prompted the Canadian province of British Columbia to impose restrictions on fuel. Highways and railway tracks have been submerged by floodwaters. A 20-car freight train was derailed in the US border town of Sumas as floodwaters swept the tracks beneath it. The rail line is a major artery for goods between the two countries and may not be back in action for some time. Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports from Sumas in Washington State. #US #Canada #Floods
