COVID: Austria imposes lockdown for unvaccinated

A nationwide lockdown has gone into effect in Austria for people who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19. They can now only leave their home for essential activities including shopping, medical visits or to get vaccinated. Only about 65 percent of the population has been inoculated – which is below the European Union average.
