Thousands of migrants are stranded between Poland and Belarus

A new humanitarian crisis is unfolding on the border of Belarus and Poland, where thousands of migrants are trapped in the middle of two countries that push them back and forth. It’s a new chapter in the political tug-of-war between the EU and Minsk. The bloc is accusing the Belarusian government of pushing migrants into neighbouring countries such as Poland in retaliation for the latest sanctions it has imposed on the country. In this episode of #EuronewsWitness, our correspondent Valérie Gauriat went to Poland. She met people stranded in the forest, the activists helping them and the local residents showing solidarity.
