Ahmaud Arbery was killed based on assumptions, US prosecutor says

The trial of three white men accused of killing a black man in the US State of Georgia last year began on Friday. Ahmaud Arbery who was out for a jog was shot dead after being chased by the group in pick-up trucks. Lawyers for the three men argued they had reason to suspect he had committed a crime. But Arbery's prosecutor said the men’s decision was not based on concrete evidence. But even before Friday's proceedings started, there were accusations of racial bias as the 12-member jury only included one Black person.
