Lebanon cholera outbreak: UN says disease spreading ‘alarmingly’

The United Nations says the first cholera outbreak to hit Lebanon in nearly three decades is getting worse. Infections almost doubled in the last 24 hours, to a total of 89 cases. Three people have died. The spread of the waterborne disease is no longer confined to Syrian refugee camps, where there've been at least 60 deaths. Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr is in the Akkar refugee camp in northern Lebanon, where the first cases were detected.
